Who we are

SPN is a team of three independent consultants; Julia Stafford, Geraldine Pettersson and Sally Neath. Collectively SPN have
  • Many years’ experience of designing, managing and delivering social research and consultancy for a range of clients, locally, regionally and nationally


  • Experience of senior management, project management and delivery, training design and delivery, commissioning, governance and fundraising in the charity and voluntary sector


  • A good working knowledge of community safety initiatives and data sources with a track record of data analysis, surveys and evaluations


  • Knowledge of the experiences and perceptions of passengers in using public transport; an understanding of the importance of public transport in promoting social inclusion; and expertise in making public transport services accessible and secure


  • Worked and carried out research with front line staff, and people experiencing disadvantage and social exclusion
     
  • Expertise in strategic development and planning


  • The ability to write jargon free and accessible reports, achievable action plans, briefing papers, clear guidance and fact sheets, for key audiences
